At last, a curated guide to the top trends for summer 2023, featuring pieces from our collection. A breakdown on all the colors, styles, and gemstones that you need the inside scoop on this summer. We will be answering your questions surrounding the projected trends for this spring/summer. Think edgy and dramatic pieces. Not necessarily bigger but different silhouettes are coming into play this year.
Which fine jewelry trends will be prevalent this spring and summer?
Bright colors! Whether it’s with enamels - which you’ll see a lot of from high jewelry designers - or if you’re not into enamel you can still rock this trend (quite literally) with semi-precious gemstones. The bright colors bring a great energy to your spring and summer wardrobe. One noteworthy way this trend is styled is with jade. As fine jewelry has melded with fashion over the years, people are starting to mix bright unusual colors with their diamonds and gold. Showing off this trend below is a beautiful piece from our estate collection, the Hermes Clic H bangle with a lavender enamel and a rose gold plating.

Which colors should we be on the lookout for?
Anything green. From emeralds and peridots, to jade. Green symbolizes life, fertility, renewal, and resurrection. Perfect for spring time when flowers are blooming, grass is growing and the leaves are turning green again. Especially green, in an earring, something big and dramatic is all the rage right now. Shown here is another stunning piece from our estate collection 14k yellow gold Jade earrings.

What is happening with yellow gold?
We used to be asking white or yellow gold? And for a second there even rose…Now, without a doubt she is wearing yellow gold. The question once was, do you like shiny or matte? But now it is all about the texture. Hammered, woven, carved, sparkle, whatever it might be, buyers can’t get enough. Even if it is as simple as a gold chain, people want texture. When you look at the photo below you can feel the texture just by looking at this earring and ring set. The pattern reminiscent of nature and leaves is perfect for springtime.

If yellow gold is so popular, what is happening with sterling silver?
Well, the two-tone trend is bigger than ever, we can bet that silver isn’t going anywhere. History repeats itself and so do the trends. It’s been a while since sterling silver was the “it” item. Certainly white metals have had their moment in the sun, from white gold and platinum to silver. Customers are realizing how much can truly be done with silver and for the ultimate jewelry lover, it’s an affordable metal to give you the same look compared to white gold or platinum. The ELLE Jewelry ring below features sterling silver with gold plating and CZ stones. The different shapes and colors create a play on movement. This ring would be an eye catching addition to any collection.

What 2022 trends (or earlier) are still relevant?
Pinky rings. If you’re analyzing everyone's outfits when you watch tv, flip through magazines, or see celebrities' social media, you’ll have noticed that everyone (and we mean everyone) has a pinky ring. This trend used to be a niche thing men wore. Originally worn by male royals in Europe during the 19th century often a signet ring with their family crest. They wore these rings then to signify they were not looking for a bride. The style brought its way to the US during the Jazz Age and pinky rings were well loved by men and women. A modern take on the pinky ring is shown below, a simple circular signet ring with one small diamond. The surface of the ring still holds enough room to engrave a small initial if you want to make it more personal!
